1. Types of Information We Collect

In order to use different services offered by EliteList.ca it will be necessary to gather certain information from you. Use of this information will be limited to the purposes for which it was intended and will not be used for unanticipated commercial purposes. Information will be used to the extent necessary to improve functionality and comply with applicable laws.

EliteList.ca passively gathers information including cookies and IP addresses. This information will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes but to improve functionality by tracking user preferences, enhance site navigation, and detect fraud or intrusive activities.

Other activities including registration of accounts and submission of advertising content may require us to gather certain personal information which may include but is not limited to your name, age and location. You may access and edit information that you have submitted to us. Either through your account interface or by emailing EliteList.ca when you are unable to edit or update information on your account and you would like it deleted or removed.

We may, from time to time, send you email regarding new products and services. You also have choices with respect to cookies. In order to most effectively serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third party banking institutions and processing agents. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process your order.

8. Miscellaneous

Sharing non-public information about yourself (i.e. your name, phone number, email address, etc.) in public areas on this Site is done so at your own risk. If you choose to make such voluntary disclosures, this Privacy Policy shall not apply to such information you have shared.

EliteList.ca has no control over information you have shared on third party websites or off of this website.

If you choose to interact with other users of EliteList.ca outside of the website this is done so at your own risk. EliteList.ca cannot screen all users or substantiate allegations reported by other users. Use common sense and your better judgement.

9. Law Enforcement Cooperation Policy

As discussed above, the information you have voluntarily shared with us or that you have chosen to report may be shared with law enforcement or government agencies whenever appropriate.

User information and Terms of Service violation reports are archived according to the EliteList.ca document retention policy and will be made available whenever necessary.
